Avery postcards Pack
Avery is the market leader when it comes to printing at home. Most of their packs are under the 200 postcards mark.
That's convenient enough for printing postcards on your Inkjet.
As we mentioned above you can purchase postcards with PrintPlace. However you'd only be doing that if you had a huge postcard printing job to do!
That's because PrintPlace tend to do fast turn-around, full color postcard printing and use digital printers. As offset printers, they will print your postcard designs in bulk printing runs.
Whereas with the postcard packs, you're getting purely postcards for you to print at home yourself.
So, you can see the differences there!
Here's what Avery says about their postcards:
Avery postcards (for Inkjet printers) offer an eye-catching, economical way to spread the word about big events, business promotions, and everyday happenings. This pack offers a total of 200 4-1/4 x 5-1/2-inch postcards designed to meet U.S. postal regulations and feed smoothly through all inkjet printers.
Thick, sturdy card stock ensures that your important messages hold up well during travel through the mail system, and you never end up with too few cards or too many, because you have complete control over the production process.
Use your favorite design program to create promotions from scratch or begin with free templates from www.Avery.com. Then print using your inkjet printer, apply the required postage and let the postal service do the rest. Your clients, friends, and family will receive unique, professional-looking postcards that really capture their attention.
Here's the advantages when you buy postcards in a pack.
Below I've included the good reviews - and the bad - about using the Avery postcard packs. I think common sense dictates that you should use an inkjet printer that is sufficient for printing postcards (usually a lot thicker than normal card).
The reason of course is that you want your postcard to be stiff in the mail. Not a flimsy little thing that'll float away in any breeze. Postcards should be strong and sturdy! (That's my opinion anyway, and I'm completely bias!)
So yep - make sure your printer says it prints postcards before you go buy postcards!
Anyway, here's what some customers have said about using the Avery postcards:
I did a 300 piece mailing with these glossy post cards and I received nothing by compliments! I just ordered two more packs. They are AMAZING! I recommend it highly.
I used this Avery postcards and I am complete satisfied with them. I have a HP Inkjet and the quality of the printing on this item was excellent. People were impressed by the 'professional look' of the postcards.
I read other posts about this type of postcards and I saw people complaining about jamming the printer. Here is scoop, unless you have a high quality professional printer that will cost you thousands of dollars, any time you print too many sheets at once your printer WILL jam! I don't have a cheap printer and yet when I push it to print too much at once it jam even with regular paper.
I have printed 5 at a time with these post cards and it didn't jam once.
Never thought I would feel strongly about paper but this item made me want to throw it and my printer out the window. I jammed constantly when I was printing several hundred postcards. I had to feed it in one sheet at a time. I ended up using about 3 packs of these, so I don't think it was just a bad pack. Absolutely horrible.
I went to order the Avery postcards online - and you can - easily enough, however they only offer delivery to USA and Puerto Rico. That's OK if you live in the US.
If you don't though, try searching Amazon.com for Avery postcard packs and you'll likely find world wide delivery at slightly cheaper than recommended prices!
And lastly, let's explore a few more options:
I'll update this page shortly with prices from all those sites mentioned above!
